In this show, we see four female chefs preparing for a strange ritual; in so doing they listen again to daily sounds that form a sensuously playful symphony. Words are vocalized, mangled, and distorted in a kind of frenzy of word tasting. The musical compositions play with various registers of sound, ranging from smooth to rough to shimmering, as rendered by the cello, crockery and other utensils.
