Access
Le Quai, Forum des Arts Vivants is located in the Doutre district opposite the Château du Roi René on the opposite bank of the Maine.
On foot or by bike
Getting to Le Quai from the center of Angers is very pleasant. Take the Rive Gauche via the Ancien Pont de Verdun; then the promenade. There’s a bicycle path along the Maine river and Cale de la Savatte with a view of the Cathédrale and Château.
By bus
Several bus lines stop at la Doutre near the Quai:
• Free shuttle during construction work on the tramway and lines

=> get off at Beaurepaire: five minutes from Le Quai via Boulevard Henri Arnauld

=> get off at Front de Maine: behind Le Quai
Depuis la gare d'Angers
- à pied : la gare d’Angers - St Laud se trouve à 20 minutes à pied : Place de la Gare puis rue de la Gare, rue Hoche, Place de l’Académie, puis boulevard du Roi René à gauche, et enfin traverser le Pont de la Basse Chaîne.
- En bus : De la gare se rendre à pied à l’arrêt Angers gare Bremont puis prendre la ligne 4 direction Angers - Beaucouzé/Atoll : arrêt Aragon.
By car

The easiest route is via Pont de la Basse Chaîne, at the end of which (on the Rive Droite) you will find Le Quai.
• From the center of Angers: at the end of Boulevard du Roi René opposite the Château
• From Rennes/Nantes via highway A11 going toward Angers-Centre: exit (on the right) at Avrillé/La Doutre/Château; then turn left onto the bridge
• From Paris/Tours/Le Mans via highway A11 going toward Angers-Centre: exit at Château/Maison du Tourisme; turn right onto the bridge

By train
• By foot : Angers - St Laud’s station is located at 20 minutes from Le Quai: Place de la Gare next rue de la Gare, rue Hoche, Place de l’Académie, and boulevard du Général de Gaulle à gauche, and then cross over le pont de la basse chaîne.
• By bus : ligne direction Val de Maine / Bouchemaine : arrêt Fronte Maine
Parking
You can park in Le Quai’s underground parking lot (180 spaces). Enter via Boulevard Gaston Dumesnil and then Rue Justicière.
Note: This parking lot fills up quickly when there is a performance at Théâtre 900. It is therefore advisable to arrive early or to park in the free parking lot at Place de La Rochefoucauld, which is ten minutes away from Le Quai on foot, via Boulevard Henri Arnauld.
